What is it?

We want to invite youth around the world to take part in the 2014 Summer Academy Essay Contest. This competition will involve two Youth Summer Camps: Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning held in Capidava Romania, celebrating their 25th anniversary, with World Genesis Foundation and the IMUN Summer Camp held in the USA hosted by the UNESCO Center for Peace in Fredrick Maryland.

A little background:

The topic of education is in constant discussion. We all agree that education is the key but there are some big questions to answer as we look into the future such as: What will education look like in the future? What are the important skills for future generations? How does our fast changing world effect education? How does technology effect education, in its delivery and in its depth? What issues and questions do we now face with new education?

We are asking youth to answer the question:

What will education in the future be like? What changes would you make? Why and how would you change it?

Why should youth participate?

Youth have the ability to connect with their generation as well as bridging with other generations to bring fresh perspectives, new possibilities and effect positive change.

We are inviting the youth of the world who are between the ages of 15 – 24 to participate in this contest.
