Heather Caton, President of world Genesis Foundation, and Secretary General of USFUCA, joined the project as a board member and has been working with the team for over a year. “We have been working together for over a year, so it was great to finally have the chance to meet in person and have some time to connect and promote this amazing project.” said Heather. We not only had the creators and producers there, we also had some artists that will be participating in the project, including writers and musicians among others. We celebrated the launch of the new website at the Nelson Mandela Days, which was held in Fredrick Maryland. Krista, Kevin and Rupam had the chance to connect with so many and also conducted video interviews which will be used in a documentary of the making of Action Moves People United. Krista Wallhagen said, "I'm deeply committed to the mission of achieving World Peace. Raising awareness of environmental and humanitarian crises world-wide while encouraging unity among countries, cultures and faiths is a crucial role on the path toward peace on Earth."
“Together we can all help create positive change,” said Kevin Mackie. Action Moves People United has a goal to create a poetic and musical album which is focused on bringing about World Peace through individual responsibility, respecting one another, helping each other, along with raising awareness and finding solutions.
"If we could only find acceptance and compassion for each other regardless of religion, race, color, identity or disability, the world would be connected through love. Our smallest individual action can make a big difference, but our collective actions can move the world and Inspire Change!” ~ Rupam Sarmah.
