World Council of Peoples for the United Nations (WCPUN) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to facilitating partnerships across sectors internationally that promote awareness and implementation of the United Nations’ goals. Their Focus Areas include Art, Education, Media and Intercultural Outreach WCPUN recognizes the role of Artists in advancing the goals of the United Nations and regularly collaborates with international artists, inviting their contributions to WCPUN publications and events according to the featured topic.

CenterPoint Now is a publication that highlights issues on the agenda of the international community, with a view to showcasing the extraordinary diversity of ways in which the UN’s values and objectives can be promoted and implemented. Produced since 1984 – and in the United States since 2005. World Genesis Foundation is an article you will see in the 2013 edition. “It is such a great opportunity to share our mission and a little about the work we do in this publication. I am certain the impact will be a positive one as Centerpoint Now propagates around the world. We are so thankful for the outreach,” said Heather Caton MSW, President of World Genesis Foundation.

The 2013 publication will highlight both input from the formal multilateral sustainable development process, as well as question what “sustainable development” implies at the individual and societal levels with international artists who address sustainable development through various creative multimedia platforms, as well as policy-makers and innovators across disciplines and cultures.

The World Genesis Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that was founded on November 30, 1999 and is dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
