Even the very young students have the opportunity to learn and experience the joy of a musical instrument.

The World Genesis Foundation announced today that American musician Norman Rosner has volunteered to lead the creation and management of a new music program for youth as part of a UNESCO Summer Academy in eastern Europe.

"We are honored to have Norman Rosner leading this project, said David Lewis Anderson, President and CEO of the World Genesis Foundation. We have been priviliged to work with Norman before and his gift to make a positive imact on youth through music is absolutely remarkable."

"This year's music program will be the largest this program has ever delivered.  Students across eastern Europe will have the opportunity to learn an instrument for the first time, refine their existing skills, or have the opportunity to perform in daily theatre events during the program. Vocal instruction and music composition are also an important part of this unique educational program in the performing arts.

Several well-known performing artists from across the region have already volunteered to join Norman to support this special music program for youth.  Norman will be leading this program at the Atlantykron Summer Academy of Learning, sponsored by the World Genesis Foundatin and held on an island in the Danube detal near the Black Sea in Romania near the ancient Roman ruins of Capidava.

The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
