The Place of Play is located in Bucharest, Romania. The new educational facility gives the opportunity for children ranging in age a place to learn in addition to having fun. The children have the opportunity to learn subjects such as French, English, music, art, physical fitness and much more. “ We have all worked so hard to bring this place to life. The children love dressing up in the costumes, seeing them laugh makes me smile,” said Valentin Ionescu, a partner who has been involved with the project for the past year. Alexander Buzu, founder, along with others have worked with much effort to get “The Place of Play” ready for the New Year.
The World Genesis Foundation expresses thanks to Tara and Vera at Party City in Mesa, Arizona for their generous efforts that made this possible. “It was a wonderful opportunity for the World Genesis Foundation to participate in supporting a special place that provides education and fun for the youth,” said Heather Caton, Senior Director of Education for The Word Genesis Foundation.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
