World Genesis Foundation Sponsors Major Infrastructure Upgrade for UNESCO Youth Program near Capidava, Romania

"This infrastructure upgrade comes at a critical time. The success and growth of the program requires additional measures to ensure we maintain the highest standard for safety and operations at this remote site. The Academy's chief logistic director, Cristian Panfilov, is now moving forward with final design and installation of new equipment including power distribution equipment, power cables, safety lighting, water pumps, showers and more. The upgrades designed by Cristian will provide greatly improved operations and safety for many years to come," said Sorin Repanovici, Vice President of the World Genesis Foundation and General Program Coordinator of the Academy.
In addition to the above upgrades the infrastructure improvements also included new safety equipment including radios and medical supplies and also teaching materials for several educational programs for youth.
The World Genesis Foundation was founded on November 30, 1999 and is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to a vision and mission to "leave no child without hope for the future." Headquartered in Santa Fe, NM USA, the foundation supports activities worldwide to create educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for youth with a special focus in areas of the world where these opportunities are limited or do not exist.
